Like most amenities The Viera Company includes in its master-planned community of Viera, the state-of-the-art Addison Village Club is a complete reimagination of a community club complex. Typically, when someone thinks of a neighborhood clubhouse it is a place where residents can hold special events, like a wedding shower, or gather to play bridge. Instead, this is an exceptional amenities center focused on providing social, lifestyle, athletic, and recreational activities for its members.
The Clubhouse boasts a multi-million dollar, 9,025 SF building, which includes meeting rooms, a social area, a gymnasium, and a catering kitchen with an adjacent 2,743 SF veranda, beautifully situated on a 10 acre plus campus.
Families and friends can lounge at the leisure pavilion, have a birthday party at the family pavilion, or wait for their game to start at the tennis pavilion, which is next to six tennis courts with shaded, stadium seating. After tennis, splash into the 7,700 SF resort-style family pool or the 3,000 SF lap and leisure pool. If relaxation is your goal, just sit back on one of the luxurious daybeds that are provided for your comfort.
There is something for everyone such as the Club’s indoor gymnasium for group exercise classes, basketball, volleyball, pickleball and badminton, or get outside to play on its croquet lawn, two outdoor pickleball courts, and two bocce ball courts, all with benches and shade covers.
Daniel Waite, who is the Club’s Lifestyle Director, says he wants to bring a lot of family-oriented programs to the facility. “I want everyone to come and have a sense of ownership of the facility,” he said. “I want neighbors to get involved.”
All eligible homeowners within Addison Village, as well as other approved license holders, have access to use and enjoy the Club.
